Julien Boisselier is a costume designer whose work has been primarily focused on Mexican film and television. Some of the most notable titles in his filmography include the 2019 box office hit Mirreyes vs Godínez, his first Televisa series Los Pecados de Bárbara, the feature film Los días que no estuve, and the Prime Video comedy sensation Harina: El Teniente vs El Cancelador.

He has also worked as Assistant Costume Designer on several US productions filmed in Mexico, including Netflix’s Narcos: Mexico (Season 1) and Apple TV’s The Mosquito Coast.

Additionally, he contributed to the Netflix period drama Transatlantic, created by Anna Winger (Unorthodox, Deutschland), filmed in Marseille, France.

As a Costume Supervisor, Julien he has been involved in the first two seasons of  AMC's The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, filmed in France.

In the same role, he worked on the upcoming Netflix series Man on Fire (shot in Mexico and Brazil), and recently wrapped work on an episode from the 3rd season of Netflix's The Night Agent shot in Mexico.

His expertise is backed by years of experience across various roles in costume departments, from costumer to supervisor, collaborating with renowned designers on both Mexican and international productions, including films, TV series, and commercials. He also completed a course in Costume Design for Film and TV at EICTV, the Cuban International Film School, in 2015.

 

His passion for cinema began at a young age, watching films from the projection booth of the small-town movie theater where he grew up.

 

Born and raised in France, Julien currently splits his time between Mexico City and France.
